Sub-Mission
Sub-Mission by Sage Marlowe

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Pierce meets Noah in an unexpected way and he is confused but has a good time. When he runs into Noah later he wants to know more about him. They seem to start a relationship but it is clear that Noah holds himself apart. It finally comes to a head and Pierce walks away. Months later he gets a call from his brother to come to the club. It seems France has been working with Noah and he wants another chance. Now Pierce has to deal with his own fears to move forward. I think some of the twists the story takes took me by surprise but the story was very rich and you found yourself cheering both me on to give each other a real chance. And having a friend who's daughter had heart issues it made Phoebe really very real to me as well.

Super Gay
Super Gay by Vicktor Alexander

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

I really loved Will and Rick's story. This is a full and well developed story and getting it for free was just a bonus. Loved the mix of humor and emotion. The message chapter was perfect and I really enjoyed it. And I agree with "Derrick"'s mom why sweat over your kid's name just to use a nick name.

It was fun to see Jason get so flustered around Kieran. Once they other guys got over being protective they made great new friends. Wasn't sure how they'd work things out but I'm so glad they seem to be figuring it out.

Downstairs Rules by Sullivan Clarke

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Ella was raised to be in service and has served well. Now she is in a new home and the situation has changed. She has to decide what is more important to listen to the one she directly serves or her husband. And now there is the head of the staff and how does he fit it. I really like the romance of the story deals with those in service together and not one of those servant/Lord of the manor plots.

Cabin for Two: An Anthology
Cabin for Two: An Anthology by Toni Griffin

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

This is a great collection with lots of variety in the story even though they all center around a common theme. Every story is a stand alone, although one story is a sequel to a Good Reads freebie from the Love Is project. Even you haven't read His True Nature you will still enjoy the story included in this collection.

Review: Noah

Noah
Noah by Ben Ryder

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a neat story and I like how each chapter starts with a glimpse at Callum waiting for something important and the rest of the chapter is remember the development of his relationship with Noah. It is well written but I ended up rating it with a 3 because for the romantic in me the ending fell a bit flat evening if it probably more realistic.

Review: Stolen Hearts

Stolen Hearts
Stolen Hearts by Courage Knight

My rating: 4 of 5 stars

This story was very emotional. A family in so much need. A man dealing with his own internal turmoil. They seem brought together but Dane thinks that what he feels is wrong. After a major crisis he leaves but realizes he must go back no matter what happens. What I found so encouraging about the story was that no matter how bad things got for Haylee she stood up on her own two feet and was already making the right choices to get everything back on track and having Dane return was just an added bonus.

She writes romance but she has never really lived. Regan isn't happy but she doesn't expect to be taken from the woods by her home. She is introduced to a whole new world. She is transformed but is it for real or because she is forced. I love how Jay stepped away and let her make up her own mind about her step into a kinky world and a relationship. Very riveting story.

This is a collection of stories. They were interesting but not exactly what I was expected. I was expected more of an age play story but it was really a guardian taking care of his niece. I think the hard part about reading this book as the stories are not in order so sometimes I got confused but the what was happening until I realized oh this story predates the first one.

A different story line. Dorian is captured while on patrol but not by the enemy but an American ex-pat. On one hand he seems to be saving her but yet she is tied up and left to worry. Then she gets free and almost escapes into the clutches of the enemy. This story just had a weird vibe.
